Discussion
I
think mathematics is relevant because it gives us the ability to learn and
think logically in any field of endeavour. Maths helps you build things, it is
incredibly important in our lives and without realizing it, we use mathematical
concepts, as well the skills we learn from doing maths every day. Practically
every career uses maths in some way.
Things
that you wouldn’t expect to bear any relation to maths do in fact comes down to
an underlying need for mathematics and the structure it brings to our everyday
lives. Take shopping, cooking, traveling, or buying a property for instance.
None of these would be possible without the existence of mathematics.
Furthermore, maths is everywhere when you consider the educational and
professional world. Whether you aspire to study sociology, psychology, physics,
biology or even economics maths is held in high regard.
